· Parking permit fees were increased
from the current $30/month to $50/month and the daily parking
permits that we allow for contractors etc were increased from
$8/day to $10/day.
· A maximum of 24 consecutive hours
of parking was added for the entire town. This would limit
people from parking in excess of 24 hours without moving their
vehicle. This was added to address long term parking issues
where vehicles have been left for long periods of time.
· Electric vehicle charging station
regulations in advance of the new EV charging stations to be
added to the BOCC and Stockey
· Boulevard parking to be permitted
on paved sections of boulevard with no curbs or mountable curbs
between April 16th-October 31st of each
year as long as it does not interfere with municipal
operations/infrastructure/utility work
· Overnight parking area at the
Stockey Centre during the winter months identified by a map to be
the gravel parking area near the trail
· McIsaac Way added to one way
street list (previously approved by Council to be turned into a
one-way street running from the entrance on Bay St to James St)
